orientation sensitivity
orientation sensitivity is defined as an individual's awareness of self in relation to time, place, and person. Visual perception critically depends on orientation. for example, Humans show greater behavioral sensitivity to gratings with horizontal or vertical orientations than to other, 'oblique' orientations. it's proven that human visual system is more sensitive to horizontal and vertical stimuli than to stimuli at other orientations.
