Visibility
With this product, you can't really see where you are aiming. Often, you will miss the core all together because it is difficult to position the tool directly over the core. This problem arises because the product has a solid tube with no cut away to see where the blade is placed.

When one sees this tool they often have no idea what it is used for. Only someone who has purchased this product, or is familiar with it will really know how to use it.
Constraints
This product has minimal constraints. The user can really aim it wherever they want on the apple. This leads to an abundance of miss-cuts.
