Yeah so I guess I'll just list them from the descending order, just for good times.
Toy 10 - Hmmm blocks wooden blocks. Well they would be joyful to stack and the possibilities are endless.
Toy 9 - I'm stoked on cornstarch and water combined with dye. Childhood and contemporary favorite. I was contemplating doing this earlier last week.
Toy 8 - cars and ramps, glorious. Perhaps blocks that interlock together into a tall structure. This structure could be the track for the car to race down.
Toy 7 - Stuffed story telling animal. Well grand idea, but seeing as how every John and Jane Doe have an ipod or a computer I would suggest an ipod uplink. Or even better, solid state removable memory cards that parents’ can download online content to. That would ensure a broad range of stories and a minimal manufacture of memory cards. You could provide a membership to the online database - of course with the purchase of your toy.
Toy 6 - Play dough. Maybe it should finally be edible... Think about it.
Toy 5 - Animal shaped puzzle. You should make the animal shaped puzzle fit into a larger puzzle when complete. This larger puzzle could represent an ecosystem and would therefore be educational for children. Especially since the next generation will be dealing with all of our absurd waste, they could learn about sustainability. Plus the only animals that would be around would be puzzle animals. "Ah, let us reminisce." But yeah so, you could also have descriptions of the animal on the back of the puzzle. So when the puzzle is done the child can read an explanation of that animal and its role in the environment.
Toy 4 - Doll. Good and simple. Laser eyes could help though. Just kidding. But yeah simple and intuitive, enough said.
Toy 3 - Interlocking blocks...Well I think that your next concept slaughters this idea with a scorching lighting bolt of magnetism. Magnetism owns.
Toy 2 - Yes! Magnetic structure. I love it. You should incorporate different shapes though. And spinning things to! You don't really need to do the above mentioned, the concept is quite strong already. but I personally think spinning things and magnets should go hand in hand - oh liquid to. You'll understand more when you see my concepts. I think it's a problem or something.
Toy 1 - Robot With gun. Well I don't see the need to comment on this one. Mainly because the other concepts, I feel are much stronger. But if in fact you do want my opinion...I would say more magnets, lasers and I hope that gun shoots water that is illuminated by a laser. Or the gun could fire candy; the later is far more impressive though.
Overall I would say that the three strongest would have to be, in no particular order:
Toy 2 Toy 5 Toy 7
Yeah either one of these are strong, whether you incorporate my ideas or not. Trust me I won’t blame you if you don’t.
1)Your Robot design is good in the sense that it focuses on the child to use his/her imagination.
2)building with magnets is imaginative, interactive and supplies a number of different designs and fun.
3)building with interlocking blocks is good with the same reasons as number two. But number 2 required less small motor skills therefor will be fun for more than one certain age group.
4)your doll design allows children to interact with the toy as well as use their imagination to create fun, but all in all it is not as strong as some of your other designs.
5)Puzzle is simple but could be recreated to make it more education to a child.
6)playdough is a good idea but i suggest maybe creating a new device to go along with the playdough.
7)the stuffed animal that tells stories is a great way of combinding two favorite bedtime objects.
8)cars + jump ramp is good, but to me it is not as strong as your other designs.
9)i use to love slime! but have yet to see it sold through a market. great idea.
10)blocks is fun, imaginative and is able to be built with different outcomes. good design, but still not as strong as other designs.
while all of your toy designs were very interesting, i would have to say that my top choices are 2)building with magnets and 7)the stuffed animal that tells stories.
