Richard's 10 designs

1) This toy contains loops with openings. The toy requires 2 or more people to play. the players take turns to pick up loops, but they must not move the other loop. The toy is fun because it allows people to interact with each other. Also, it takes skill the take loops out of the pile without moving the others, and it has bright colors which makes it more attractive.

2) This toy is inspired by domino. The background is a metal board and the little pieces (enlarge one on the right) have magnet ends, this allows the board to stand on the wall and the pieces won't fall. This is a fun toy because it takes the player's creativity to build the domino. Also, it is a challenge since the player will not know if the domino is going to be successful.

3) This toy contains a balloon and a weight. A fan is being placed at the bottom. When the wind blows, the toy will float in the air, since the air will raise it up and the weight will pull it down.

4) This toy is a ball which contain spikes that can go is the main body part of the toy. It is inspired by the shocking toy. the players throwing the ball around but not letting it touch the ground. They won't know when the spikes are going to come out. It is fun because it is "dangerous" which catches people on their nerves. Also, it is challenging since you won't know who will catches a spiky ball.

ps. the spikes are not harmful.

5) This is a remote control cube. unlike remote control cars, there are all direction wheels on each corner of the cube which means it can still go when it's up side down. (eg. go down stairs)
It is fun since it can be controlled.

6) This is a remote control mouse. The goal of the toy is to go around and collects the metal balls. The toy is inspired by the game "snake". It can be controlled and it is challenging. There are sounds and the eyes are flashy.

7) This toy contains 8 legs which are made out of bendable metal wire. At the end of each leg there is a piece of magnet. Players can customize the form of the toy as they bend the legs and it can stick on large metal areas like the fridge.

8) This is a shoot-the-target toy. The black dot of the mushroom contains sticky materials that would stick onto the cherries. The string connects the the mushroom head and the stem. It is fun because it takes aiming skill and it is also challenging.

9) This is a toy that fits the category of role play and cute. The wings can spread out which creates an interaction between the player and the toy.

10) This is a tube which you blow into in order to blow the ball out and try to get it into the opening on the side of the toy. It takes skill to play the toy.

I guess we need to comment on all of them?

1) How do we know we are not supposed to make the other rings move?
2) If the peices don't fall when on a wall, will they still act like dominoes?
3) I'm a little comfused as to what it does
4) I want one of these. Totally
5) Awesome, but not "totally" original
6) Do the balls only stick to the back of it? Little comfused, sorry.
7) Neat, what can you do besdies bend the legs?
8) Comfusing, sorry.
9) Awww, how sweet of you to make an angel
10) That could be fun, I'm not sure how many different people would try it in class tho, haha.

I like your idea especially the #4 one. It will be fun but "dangerous" and scared in a way that it comes out suddenly.
But for the #1, I think it will become a game.
#9 that one is very cute. I think I saw some toys like that. (unsure). But it will have a very good interaction with people.
However, some of the idea are a little confused.

Hey Richard~

I think the idea 4 seems very interesting because we don't know when the spike come out but it needs certain mechanism to push the spike~
