Jenny Duong's Toy concepts

1. Just like Newton's cradle (A momentum based toy where the middle balls stay still, while the balls on either side swing back and forth orderly.) I decided that this toy will have transparent balls with weights attached either outside or within the ball, and also wind spirals in the interior of the ball to give a visual effect. The idea of this toy is for the user to start the momentum of the balls, and then watch the wind spirals spin.

2. This toy is based on a photo album. The user can place pictures into the top section of the three divisions, and flip and change mid sections or bottoms of a fictional body. This toy’s function is to make fun of friends and family.

3. In this toy a ball is to be placed into a funnel, down a tube and into a maze which will determine which tube the ball will enter. This path may or may not set off a slapping machine where a friend will sit and possibly get smacked by the machine. Is this a game or toy?

4. Simple visual toy. Pretty streams and flashy decorations attached to a bouncy ball like a tail.

5. This toy is a box with a magnet hidden within. The user then has variations of metal pieces, such as nails, washers, brackets and nuts, to choose from and build structures with.

6. This toy is similar to the toy before it, but instead of magnets and metal this toy is made from a foam based (used for flower arranging) and pipe cleaners as the building materials.

7. Basic traditional toy where the user shakes the bottle and watches a tornado form. I plan to make mine out of beer bottles and sparkles.

8. A plane made from zero electric components. I found out how to make a fan rotate from vibrations and using this traditional toy turn it into a plane.

9. A puzzle: how do you balance 11 nails onto a single nail?

10. Glass cups filled with different amounts of waters, which are tapped on with sticks to make music. I will turn this traditional musical instrument into a piano.

I like the photo album idea, I think little kids would like that.

5 would be fun too, for older kids, lots of possibilities for different structures to be built.

for the 1st idea, if you use tranparent balls which filled with something shined powder will create visual effect when the ball hit each other~^^.
